Steps

  1. Step 1: Check which syllabus you sit

    Where: O Level course or topic page → See what changes

    If you start in Sep 2027 or later you sit the new syllabus; everyone else stays on the current course, which has not changed. The syllabus page lists what is new, what changed and what was removed.

  2. Step 2: Open the new course

    Where: Learn → the new O Level course → Start with Topic 1

    Eleven topics in the new order. Each syllabus section says whether it is new, changed, Python-only or the same as now, and where it sits in the current course.

  3. Step 3: Learn and test a topic

    Where: New-course topic page → Smart Notes · Assignment · “Test yourself”

    Notes, quizzes, flashcards and assignments here are written for the new syllabus only — Python, no pseudocode. Ask Z about this topic answers with the new rules too.

  4. Step 4: Practise the Python

    Where: New-course topic page → its examples → Run

    Every Python and SQL example runs in the browser. Past-paper questions come from the current syllabus, so use them where the topic is marked “same”.
