Unless stated otherwise, everything created for this site — topic notes and pages, the wording and selection of quizzes and flashcards, model exam questions and their tips, code examples, the infographics, the glossary and command-words guide, blog posts, the pseudocode interpreter, the Python harness, the SQL engine, the assembler and the Prolog engine and every other tool, the video library's topic index, the site's design and code — is © 2026 Zafar Ali Khan. All rights reserved, except for the licence in the Terms of Use (§3): personal study and classroom use with attribution, no republishing, no resale, no AI training.

AskZ Smart Notes and ZAK Assignments are generated with AI from ZAK's own notes, workbooks and assignments together with the syllabus and past papers, on his instructions and to his design. We treat them as ZAK Content under the same licence; where a jurisdiction does not recognise copyright in AI-generated text, the underlying material they are compiled from, their letterhead and the exports (PDF, slides) remain his. Cambridge material quoted inside them stays Cambridge's (section 2).

Page-overview videos were generated with Google's NotebookLM from the pages' own content on ZAK's instructions and reviewed by him; Google claims no ownership of generated output under its Generative AI Additional Terms. We treat them as ZAK Content under the same licence, with the same reservation for jurisdictions that do not recognise copyright in AI-generated works.

Attribution format: “Source: CS with ZAK (Zafar Ali Khan) — cswithzak.com/…” with a link where the medium allows. Infographics exported from the site carry a small “cswithzak.com” mark; please keep it.

Past examination questions, mark schemes, examiner reports, specimen papers, syllabuses, the Pseudocode Guide for Teachers, grade thresholds and related documents are the copyright of Cambridge University Press & Assessment (Cambridge International Education). CS with ZAK has no affiliation with, and no endorsement, sponsorship or approval from, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Cambridge International Education or the University of Cambridge. All Cambridge names and marks, including “Cambridge International”, “Cambridge O Level”, “Cambridge IGCSE” and “Cambridge International AS & A Level”, are their trademarks, used here only to identify the qualifications.

How we use Cambridge material:

• Syllabus PDFs are linked to Cambridge's own website, not copied.
• Full past papers are not hosted here; the Past Paper Finder links to third-party archives (PapaCambridge). We do not control those archives and they are responsible for their own compliance.
• The exam-question tool shows individual questions, the corresponding mark-scheme points and the examiner's report comments, with the paper, session and question number cited, as teaching material for students who are entered for these qualifications, together with ZAK's topic classification and commentary. We believe this is fair dealing for the purpose of private study and instruction under the Copyright Ordinance 1962 (Pakistan) and comparable provisions elsewhere. It is provided free, without advertising, to the students the material is examined on. We recognise that Cambridge's published policy is not to grant permission for electronic publication of past-paper questions, and we will remove any item promptly on request from Cambridge (section 5) — no questions asked.
• AskZ, Smart Notes and Assignments may quote a question or mark-scheme point, with its reference, when explaining or practising it, and paraphrase textbook content rather than reproducing it.

Textbook references (Hodder Education, Cambridge University Press and others) are to the publishers' works; we do not reproduce their text.

• Blog posts are pulled live from ZAK's own Blogger site (© Zafar Ali Khan); cover images belong to their respective owners as credited there.
• Video lectures and the AI-narrated page-overview videos are on ZAK's own YouTube channel (© Zafar Ali Khan); they remain on YouTube under YouTube's terms and are played through YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed.
• Testimonials are © their authors, licensed to us under the User Content policy.
• Centre logos (SKH Solutions, Zatians and others) belong to those centres and are shown with their permission to identify where ZAK teaches.
• Icons are from Lucide (ISC licence); fonts are Inter, Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono (SIL Open Font Licence), with a few symbols in the PDF exports taken from DejaVu Sans (Bitstream Vera / DejaVu licence); the site is built on Next.js and React (MIT). The Python Playground runs CPython (PSF licence) through Pyodide (MPL 2.0), served by jsDelivr; PDF exports use pdfmake (MIT) and slide exports use fflate (MIT). Their licences are respected in the source.

“CS with ZAK”, “CSwithZAK”, “AskZ”, “ZAPP”, “ZAKATHON”, the fingerprint-Z logo and the phrase “O & A Level Computer Science, the way it should be taught” are trade names and marks of Zafar Ali Khan, whether or not registered. ZAK's name, photograph, voice and likeness are his own. You may not use any of them to name, promote or endorse classes, notes, channels, groups, apps or products that are not ours, or in any way that suggests affiliation. Nominative references (“I studied with CS with ZAK”, a link to the site, a review) are fine. Merchandise bearing the marks is sold only by us (Souvenir shop).

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights — including if you are Cambridge, a publisher, a photographer or an individual — send a notice to [contact@cswithzak.com](mailto:contact@cswithzak.com) with “Takedown” in the subject line, containing:

1. your name, organisation and contact details (email and phone);
2. the work you say is infringed (title, and a link or copy if possible);
3. the exact URL(s) on cswithzak.com where the material appears, and enough detail for us to find it (e.g. paper, session, question number);
4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights-holder, its agent or the law;
5. a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act for them;
6. your physical or electronic signature.

What we do: we acknowledge within 2 working days, and within 3 working days of a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material (or, for content mirrored from Blogger or a third-party host, remove our link and forward the notice). We tell you what we did. Repeat infringers among contributors are barred. This process follows the spirit of the US DMCA §512 and the EU Digital Services Act Article 16, and applies worldwide.

Counter-notice: if material you contributed was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply with the URL, why you believe you have the right to use it, and consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi; we will consider restoring it after 10 working days unless the complainant tells us they have started proceedings.

Bad-faith notices (knowingly false claims) may make you liable for damages under applicable law.
