For schools

Your CS department, on CS with ZAK.

Every teacher already gets the Paper Builder free. A school licence gives your department its own AI allowance and puts your teachers' papers in one place — and your students keep everything free, as always.

Free for every teacher — no licence needed

  • The Paper Builder: class tests to mocks from real Cambridge questions and AskZ-written ones
  • One link per paper for the whole class, with results sent back by signed-in students
  • Class lists, Google Classroom sharing and a CSV of each class's results
  • Every note, lecture, lab, quiz, past paper and Ask Z — for you and every student

What a school licence adds

  • Your department's own AI allowanceAskZ-written questions and paper changes come out of the school's monthly allowance, so they keep working on busy days when the free daily budget has run out. When the allowance is used up, the free tier takes over until the 1st.
  • Papers shared across your teachersEvery teacher on the licence sees the class links their colleagues have set, on My classes — titles, papers and how many results came back. Open one to set the same paper for your own class.
  • Set up and checked by ZAKZAK links your approved teachers by their school email, sets the licence dates and is a WhatsApp message away for the department.

How it works

Three steps, all by message.

No sign-up form for the school and nothing to buy on the site.

    1

    Ask

Message the admissions team on WhatsApp or email us with your school, city and how many CS teachers you have.

    2

    Pilot

Schools can start with a free pilot term: your teachers request access with their school email, ZAK links them to the school.

    3

    Licence

If the department wants to keep it, we send an invoice for the year — bank transfer or Raast in Pakistan, Payoneer abroad.

The terms are in the Terms of Use, §4 “School licence”.

FAQ

Before you ask.

What heads of department ask first.

Do students pay anything?

No. Students never pay for anything on the site, licence or not, and nothing a student can use today is ever moved behind a licence. The licence is only for the school's teachers.

Can a teacher use the Paper Builder without a licence?

Yes. Any Computer Science teacher can request free access with a school email address. The licence adds the department's own AI allowance and shared papers on top of that free tier.

What do colleagues see of each other's classes?

The title, paper, mark total and how many results came back for each class link. Never a student's name, answers or marks — those stay with the teacher who set the paper.

How is it paid?

By invoice, once a year (or for the term you agree), by bank transfer or Raast in Pakistan and Payoneer abroad. Nothing is sold on the site and no card details are taken here.

What happens when a licence ends?

The school's allowance and shared view switch off, and every teacher keeps the free tier with all their papers, class links and results exactly as they were.
