6 steps about 5 min Students
Steps
Step 1: Switch to the paper
Where: Question card → Paper
The question appears as Cambridge printed it, with live answer spaces.
Step 2: Answer
Where: Paper toolbar → Type / Pen
With Type, click a dotted line, a table cell or a tick box and write. With Pen (blue, black or red), draw — circuits, K-map loops, arrows. Undo/Redo, the eraser and zoom are on the same bar; pinch or Ctrl+scroll also zooms.
Step 3: Questions that need code
Where: On the paper → </> code lab chip
Opens a code lab under the paper: write, Run with the real engine, then Put it on the paper. Open in the … lab opens the full lab; its Send to the paper brings the code back.
Step 4: Get it marked
Where: Toolbar → Mark my answers
AskZ marks each part from the mark scheme; binary sums are checked column by column. You can change any part's mark with its stepper — you have the final say.
Step 5: Save and download
Where: Marking panel → Save x/y & claim XP / My answers (PDF)
Saves your score, and downloads the paper with your answers on it.
Step 6: Start again
Where: Toolbar → Clear answers
Asks Clear everything? first. Signed-in accounts keep paper work in sync across devices.
