Steps

  1. Step 1: Filter to what you need

Where: Past-Paper Questions → filter row

Pick a topic (then a sub-topic if you like), a paper, a starting year, an AO or a command word, or search. Topic pages open this already filtered.

    Open this screen
  2. Step 2: Choose a mode

Where: Practice / Browse / Sitting

Practice gives one question at a time (Next question, Reshuffle). Browse lists them all. Sitting is a timed paper — see the sitting guide.

  3. Step 3: Answer first

Where: Question card → Paper or Text

Paper shows the question as printed — answer right on it (how). Text gives a plain answer box.

  4. Step 4: Check the mark scheme

Where: Text view → Reveal mark scheme

Then mark yourself, or Mark with AskZ for an estimate. “What the examiner said” shows the examiner report's comment on that question.

  5. Step 5: Claim the marks

    Where: Save & claim XP

Saves your best score (XP only for marks above your previous best).

  6. Step 6: Go to one question

    Where: “Jump to a question”

Choose year, session and paper to walk through a whole paper, or tap a question chip. Copy link shares exactly that question.

  7. Step 7: Keep the good ones

    Where: Question card → Save

Bookmarks a question; tick Bookmarked in the filters to see only those.
