Open the Paper BuilderSteps

Where: Paper Builder → step 1

Step 2: Marks and time
Where: Step 2
Type the marks; Suggested minutes follow Cambridge's time per mark.
Step 3: Topics and weighting
Where: Step 3
Tick topics and set the sliders, or use Exam weighting / Even split. Open a topic's sub-topics to choose only what you have taught.
Step 4: Where questions come from
Where: Step 4
Past papers, AI (AskZ writes them) or Both with a share slider.
Step 5: Order and draw
Where: Step 5 → Build this paper
Choose the order, optionally include retired-syllabus questions, then build. New draw gives another selection — questions you have answered come last.
Step 6: Share and hand out
Where: Built paper → Share / “Hand it out:” PDF
The link opens the same paper for every student, sit-only. PDF prints it (tick include the mark scheme for your copy).
Step 7: Change something
Where: Change the paper
Say why (too hard, off-syllabus…), add a note and pick the questions to replace. The class link carries the revised paper.
