Teach a live class in Classroom

Schedule a live class in the built-in room or with a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams link. The register fills in as students join.

Step 1: Schedule it
Where: The class → Live → Schedule a class
Give it a title, a time and a length, once or every week. Choose the built-in room, or paste your Zoom, Google Meet or Teams link.

Step 2: Start
Where: The class → Live → the class → Join
Students join from their own Classroom page from fifteen minutes before the start. They get a reminder in their inbox.
Step 3: Read the register
Where: The class → Live → the register
A student who was there for at least half the class is present, and late if they came more than ten minutes in. With a pasted link, students press I am here. You can change any cell and download the register.
Step 4: Add the recording
Where: The class → Live → the class → edit
Paste the link to your recording. Classroom stores no video; it keeps the link for the class.
