Groups, peer review, certificates and your own questions
Four things Classroom adds to a piece of work: one hand-in for a group, students reviewing each other without names, certificates, and a bank of your own questions.
4 steps about 5 min Teachers
Open your classesSteps
Step 1: Keep your own questions
Where: New work → My own questions → Save to my questions
Open this screenQuestions you write are kept in My questions for every class. From my questions adds them to new work.
Step 2: Set work for groups
Where: New work or the desk → Groups → Make groups for me
Each group shares one set of answers and one hand-in, and gets one mark. Give one member a different mark when that is fair. A group cannot change once it has handed in.
Step 3: Ask students to review each other
Where: The settings → Peer review, then the desk → Start peer review
Write up to six things to look for. Each student reviews one to three classmates without seeing names. You see every review and can Remove this review. Peer scores never change a mark.
Step 4: Give a certificate
Where: The class → Students → Give a certificate
The student finds it under Grades and can download it. Anyone with its code can check it. Revoke withdraws it.
